Who We Are

Jeff is first and foremost a Dad who has been deeply committed to bringing the love of books, reading, and the critical thinking skills that they build into his bilingual home in Asia.

During more than two decades in Asia, Jeff has seen the explosive growth in the desire to raise internationally-prepared children firsthand. He has spent more than 15 years as an Ivy League admissions interviewer, served as the COO of a leading overseas education service provider in Greater China, and advised early childhood education providers and publishers product and venture development.

These experiences reinforced his believe in the importance of starting early in building reading comprehension and critical thinking skills.  Pleasurable, home-based reading experiences can play an invaluable role fostering passion for reading and independent inquiry -- particularly where high-pressure school environments risk creating negative associations with books.
